5 Trim Level Options on the Honda Accord, Ranked
We love all of these options!
The Honda Accord made its debut in 1976, and ever since then, it’s been able to provide drivers with technology, efficiency, safety, and reliability. There are many variations of the Accord today, and as the times have changed, the cars have only improved. At Tyrrell Honda, we are happy to help explain the different options available. Let’s take a look at some of the different trim options available for the 2022 Honda Accord, and rank them accordingly.
Honda Accord Sedan EX-L
Coming in at our No. 1 spot is the Honda Accord EX-L. Top features include: heated seats, a moonroof, parking sensors, and a memory foam driver’s seat, keeping the driver comfortable and the experience top notch. It also features a blind spot information system, which the LX and Sport Special Edition lack.
Honda Accord Sedan Touring
The touring has pretty much all of the features you could ask for. If you are looking to splurge on some further features, particularly when it comes to safety, this could be the car for you! One of the standout features of the Touring is the low-speed braking control. This will automatically apply brake pressure if it senses a collision that cannot be avoided. This model also features heated rear seats. If you are carrying multiple passengers in the wintertime, this will help make them extra comfortable. With that being said, this one makes the No. 2 spot. These extra features make the Accord Touring a great vehicle, but they are not necessary for an enjoyable ride.
Honda Accord Sedan Sport
Our No. 3 pick is the Honda Accord Sport. This trim has an option for a blindspot information with cross-traffic monitor, keeping safety as a priority. It also features a power driver’s seat and the option for heated front seats. This definitely earns points for comfort! The option of a moonroof also makes driving more fun, if that’s what you’re after. The heated seats, moonroof, and remote start are available in the 2.0T model.
Honda Accord Sedan LX
The Honda Accord LX ranks at No. 4. This trim does not have as many driver assistance technologies as some of the other options, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still a great choice. Some of the top features include a collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, and a multi-angle rearview camera, reinforcing its safety status. It also features both Apple and Android integration, as well as push-to-start. In terms of bells and whistles, this trim is more simplistic. You won’t find heated seats or a moonroof here. That’s why we rank this one lower at No. 4, but if those features aren’t as important to you, it’s still a great choice.
Honda Accord Sedan Sport Special Edition
If you like the Honda Accord Sport, you may also enjoy our No. 5 pick, the Sport Special Edition. The interior is turned up a notch here with a leather trim. You are also able to get both front seats as power seats. Some options on the Sport, however, are not available with the Sport Special Edition. This includes a wireless phone charger and HD radio, a moonroof, and blindspot information system. Some of these features may be more important than others, depending on what you’re looking for, but we would rank this special edition below the original.
